From early childhood education to education for adults, Monett Schools strive to make learning an inviting and rewarding experience for everyone. Allways innovating Monett Middle School broke ground on the new Middle School building June 10th 2021 behind Scott Regoinal Technology Center.
Monett R-1 employees approximately 181 teachers. This year, there are 2,412 students enrolled in pre-K through 12th grade.

Crowder College: This two year college enrolls over 5,400 students. It is one of the fastest growing, state-assisted colleges in Missouri.
Drury University: (Campus in Monett) Based in Springfield, MO, this private liberal arts college with eight branch campuses in mid and southern Missouri awards associates, bachelors and master's degrees.
Missouri Southern State University: In Joplin, this university offers programs leading to bachelor and master's degrees, as well as continuing education courses and a number of 2-year programs.
