The Agriculture Business Academy is a one day event to show students the
many faces of agriculture in the community.
The Academy has been a successful program since 2013,
and are hoping to build on its success each year.
We hope to soon make this an area event for FFA credits.
Program participants may apply for a scholarship upon high school graduation valued at up to $2,000.
The goal of the Barry/Lawrence Agribusiness Academy is to take high school students from the bi-county region and expose them to both ag and non-ag business opportunities. This is accomplished through business tours, discussions regarding leadership and learning from area leaders.
